"I have received no more than one or two letters in my life that were worth the postage." - Henry David Thoreau, "Walden"
In all its finality, I know the wait is worthwhile.
The letter - like a violent lover; tore its envelope, craved each page, inhaled its content, mixed right and wrong, devoured whole - all of its written soul.
And I have received the one letter in my life that was worth the postage. You made my day, really. ;)
